Speciální box „In Nomine Satanas” je oslavou nejslavnějšího období kapely, obsahuje všechna alba natočená klasickou sestavou Venom, které doplňuje album dosud nezveřejněných demosnímků z období kolem roku 1979, tedy z období vzniku kapely.

Black-metalová skupina z britského Newcastlu založená v roce 1979. Její první dvě alba (Welcome To Hell - 1981 / Black Metal - 1982) jsou považována za základní pilíře thrash - / black - a dalších extrémních forem heavymetalové hudby, to druhé dalo i celému sub-žánru své jméno - black metal. Skupina ve své klasické původní tříčlenné sestavě - Cronos, Mantas a Abaddon - ještě další dvě alba „At War With Satan” (1984) a „Possessed” (1985), a koncertní album „Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (1986)”.
