Anglický hudebník a skladatel, který se během kariéry věnoval řadě hudebních stylů od elektronické muziky, přes folkovou, new age, až k vážné hudbě, se proslavil hned v roce 1973, kdy debutoval deskou Tubular Bells. U nás je dobře znám i díky písni Moonlight Shadows, kterou natočil se zpěvačkou Maggie Reilly.
